For Gavin and Elise, Boston wasn’t always home. Originally from Pennsylvania and Delaware respectively, these two college sweethearts had barely been in Boston a year when Gavin popped the question. And already by that time, they had already made themselves quite the locals. They cozied up in their new apartment with their little fur babies (including a new pup!) and jumped in with both feet. They became fixtures at coworker socials and explored all of Boston’s best must-see spots. So, it felt fitting to take their engagement photos at one of Boston’s prettiest green spaces: the Harvard Arnold Arboretum!
The autumn leaves were just starting to pop as we met on a warm October afternoon. Opting for the more formal attire first, Elise donned an etherial tie-back white dress with off-shoulder sleeves and Gavin was quite dapper in his suit jacket and crisp white button-down. The sun glowed through the trees as we traipsed along the trails. Eventually they switched to the more casual jeans-and-flannel look. These two were up for anything - dancing, strolling, sitting, even some fun blurry shots by the pond. We hunted for the fall foliage and found some truly spectacular seasonal colors.
Next June, these two loves will tie the knot closer to their respective hometowns. I just know their wedding is going to be gorgeous, classy, and full of happy tears. Congratulations Elise and Gavin!
